Birthday Presence (forthcoming on MPRNTBL)
Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and inspired by the pioneering work of the Seattle Phonographers Union, Milwaukee Phonography seeks to create an intimate environment of attentive listening. Utilizing primarily unaltered field recordings, the ensemble members improvise soundscapes in which both audience and performer experience the sounds of our contemporary environments in exciting new contexts.
