Tutorial: Splitting a Stereo Track 1. Let's say you have a recording that is louder on one side than the other.
2. Go the track info on the left of the waveform and click on the upside-down triangle next to the track name.
3. Pull down to "Split Stereo Track."
4. You now have two separate tracks, one left and one right, and you can now edit the quieter side separately.
5. When you are done editing the separate left and right tracks, you can rejoin them into a single track by clicking on the upside-down triangle next to the top track, pull down to "Make Stereo Track."
